Edica undertakes to supply products free from defects. However, if you need to lodge a complaint, please read the following information.
Edica can be held liable under warranty for defects in products sold (i.e. Edica cannot be held liable for defects arising through the buyer’s fault).
Complaints can be lodged:

- by a letter sent to Edica’s registered office:

You may be asked to send the defective product back to demonstrate the defect or to provide additional information.
Deadline for lodging a complaint
If the buyer is a consumer (i.e. a natural person who purchases our notebooks for purposes, which are not directly related to business or professional activity), Edica will be held liable under warranty, if material defect is detected before the expiry of two years.
If the buyer is not a consumer, Edica will be held responsible under warranty, if material defect or defect in title is detected before the expiry of one year from the date of issue of products to the buyer; the buyer who is not a Consumer will lose its rights under warranty, if it does not examine the products within fourteen days of their issue and does not notify Edica about the defect within this time limit, and in the case when the defect is discovered later - if it does not notify Edica about such fact immediately after its discovery.
You are obliged to check the parcel upon its delivery in order to exclude any damage arising through the fault of the carrier.
In the course of complaint handling, we will make best efforts to choose a solution that is best for You. It may include:
- price reduction,
- withdrawal from the contract,
- exchange of goods,
- removal of the defect.

Detailed rules for complaint handling are stipulated in the Civil Code (Article 556 - 576).
